Hello, valuable being.
I’m glad you’re here.

Welcome to my little corner of the internet

Let’s talk about Self discovery.

The healing field is vast and grows daily. It comprises coaches, therapists, healers, and readers – not to mention books and workshops galore. It’s lovely and empowering to live while so many are embracing self-care and wellness.

With countless options, how to find what’s right for you

Today I’d like to introduce myself and talk about what I do as a Healing Conversationalist. This way, you can decide if I’m the right option for you.

I’m Caroline Exner.

Caroline Exner

Becoming a Healing Conversationalist was somewhat unintentional. I took my first official certification course in 2018, but at the time, I convinced myself I showed up solely for personal reasons.

I love to learn and often took courses for self-improvement. This time, I sought relief from intense bouts of feeling lost and lonely. My sister (a gift this incarnation) recommended I check out NLP Marin – a schoolhouse teaching tools for communication and change. Even though part of me was convinced my feelings weren’t going to change, I decided to jump in.

I took a chance on myself.

I frequently wondered if I would ever truly know myself or find my path throughout my study. I still wonder about these today (I’m quite existential when I want to be). Presently, new knowing is settling in:

I’ve always been on my path, and wondering is one of my greatest strengths.

Many healers are guides for others who’re on similar paths.

Fast forward a few years (what is ‘time’ anyway?!), and now I’m passionate about guiding folks to finding themselves. As they do, they’re also encountering freedom from frustrating patterns and unwanted circumstances. Win-win!

Some of my clients have struggled with challenging relationships, unfulfilling work, deep emotional pain, and/or lingering traumas. If you could have one thing (or everything) be different, what would it be?

As a coach, I attend to whole-person well-being. My practice integrates mind, body, and spirit. We are layered and complex beings.

I believe including every aspect of ourselves is paramount when healing is concerned.

The infinite ways our experiences intertwine and play off one another never cease to amaze me. Whether we’re narrowly focused on a specific issue or considering the big picture, it’s all in service of the collective you.

Oftentimes what we struggle with presently was set in motion in childhood or even generations back (think neuropathways, epigenetics, and energy). It can help to have a coach assist in uncovering and resolving what’s been running on autopilot. More precisely, a coach guides us to information beyond our conscious awareness. At least, that’s the kind of coaching you’ll get with me.

Some of the tools I use while exploring are neuro-linguistic programming, constellation facilitation, and integrative mindfulness. This carefully crafted toolkit gives us choice and reach to create big change – sometimes in a single session.

I love to engage in this way because it regularly allows me to be inspired and awed. Humans truly are magical and mysterious beings.

I believe every person who sits across me is complete and capable, just as they are. Through our work, many of my clients realize they can lean on themselves for answers and support as they are always their best and most reliable resource.

I always trust, You know best.

If you’d like to learn more about what I do, check out my FAQs and if you have your own questions, send me a note.

I hope to hear from you.

Stay curious,
Caroline

  • Hi Caroline. Nice to meet you (I saw your comment over at Ally Bean’s). Would you consider adding a like button? Perhaps that would be nice, as well as a comment stream here. Good luck with blogging!

    • Hi Pam. It’s nice to meet you too. I look forward to popping over to your blog once I return from my backpacking trip! I wasn’t liking how the like button looked aesthetically on my blog. I’ll consider it again as it is an easier way for people to engage. What’s a comment stream? Is that different than allowing folks to comment? Help!

What are your thoughts?
